Laboratories and Purchases Committee
Responsibilities
Lab Activities:
- Planning for labs requirements, development, maintenance and safety
- Follow up with the readiness of lab facilities and utilities.
- Follow up with the availability of operation and maintenance manuals and also experimental manuals.
- Preparing and revising the labs inventory.
- Preparing the requirements and the list for manpower (lab technicians and engineers) and recommending the rehabilitative training programs.
- Follow up with the requirements of calibration and maintenance of devices and equipment.
- Follow up with the safety procedures and regulations in labs.
Purchasing activities:
- Preparing purchasing orders of material for labs.
- Preparing purchasing orders of devices and equipment for labs.
- Preparing purchasing orders of department requirements.
- Follow up with the purchasing orders and its procedures.
- Study of tenders offer and award.
- Follow up and finalizing receiving procedures of purchasing orders.
