Responsibilities
Preparing annual report:
- Prepare a list of publications in scientific journals of the department staff during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of funded research projects and publications of the department staff during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of the conferences and symposia attended by the department staff within the University during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of the conferences and symposia attended by the department staff within the Kingdom during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of the conferences and symposia attended by the department staff outside the Kingdom during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of internal and external scientific trips and visits during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of graduate programs that have been created in the department during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of summer training for students.
- Prepare the list of services provided by the department to the society and its institutions during the academic year.
- Count the number of the department postgraduates during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of scientific chairs and foundations in the department during the academic year.
- Count the number of students enrolled in postgraduate diploma programs of the department during the academic year.
- Preparation of a list of the department faculty members who won a scientific prize during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of scientific exhibitions held in or under the supervision of the department through the academic year.
- Prepare a list of amendments to the plans and educational programs during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of citizens’ training activities during the current academic year compared to last academic year.
- Prepare a list of amendments to the existing graduate programs during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of specialized groups and committees in the department.
- Prepare statistics of the department students.
- Prepare a list of Masters and Doctoral dissertations of the department.
- Prepare a list of scientific lectures held in the department during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of cooperation aspects between the department and the community.
- Prepare a list of equipment and procurement of the department during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of the research carried out by the department faculty members and not registered in the Research Center during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of patents during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of scientific symposia, seminars and training courses set up in the department during the academic year.
- Prepare a list of sabbatical leaves.
Preparing and follow-up website:
- Collect data related to the department regarding the curriculum, faculty members, labs …
- Update website with regards to new/old events.
- Coordinate with college website committee.
- Guide new faculty to set up their personal website
- Any other requested tasks.
