Graduates (Alumni) Committee

Committee Objectives:
- Enhancing communication and establishing the principle of the exchange of views and information between the College of Engineering and graduates as well as graduates among themselves.
- Strengthening the community support for the college.
- Benefiting from the experiences of college graduates.
 

COE Industrial Advisory Committee

The industrial advisory Committee of the College is an advisory body that provides advice to the dean of the college to contribute to the continuous improvement of the college’s academic programs, in directing its future policies and evaluating its strategic plans. It is also the link with the governmental and professional community sectors.

Student Advisory Council

The Students Advisory Committee of the College of Engineering consists of the heads of student clubs and branches of the specialized scientific societies from all departments of the college and is chaired by a faculty member.  The Committee organizes the activities of the college’s students and communicates with the Deanship of Student Affairs in the University and the College’s Deanship to support student activities inside and outside the College.

College Council

The college Dean is the president of the Council and he is represented by the most senior Vice Dean during his absence or when his position is vacant).  Council members are the college Dean, heads of academic departments, and three selected faculty members, one of them is preferred to be the representative of the college in the University Scientific Council. The terms of their membership are determined by a decision of the University Council, provided that one of the College’s Vice Deans is assigned as the Secretary of the Council.
