Abstract: Radiation applications cover many fields nowadays including Medicine, Industry, Agriculture, Environmental Protection and Scientific Research. The presentation will cover main applications in these fields. Fundamentals of radiation engineering are also presented. Examples of these applications include industrial radiography, nuclear gauges, well logging, sterilization of medical disposables, wire and cable, tire processing under industrial applications.

يسر وكالة كلية الهندسة للشؤون الأكاديمية ممثلة بوحدة الإرشاد والتوجيه الطلابي بالكلية أن تعلن عن إقامة محاضرات تعريفية (حضورياً) للتخصصات الهندسية لطلاب الهندسة العامة (غير المخصصين)، في قاعة 1ب 10 بكلية الهندسة، وسيفتتح تلك المحاضرات سعادة وكيل كلية الهندسة للشؤون التعليمية والأكاديمية د. عبد الرحمن بن محمود، حيث سيقوم بالإجابة على أسئلتكم واستفساراتكم فيما يخص إجراءات التخصيص والتحويل، وسيتبع ذلك سبع محاضرات تعريفية عن كل قسم حسب الجدول الموضح أدناه:

مرحبا بكم في موقع قسم الهندسة الصناعية بكلية الهندسة بجامعة الملك سعود
يقدم قسم الهندسة الصناعية تعليما و ابحاث في ثلاثة برامج مختلفة لثلاث مسارات أساسية مواكبة للتقدم العلمي و الصناعي الحديث وتخدم متطلبات سوق العمل في المملكة العربية السعودية، وهي مسار هندسة نظم التصنيع وتقنياتها، مسار هندسة العمليات الصناعية ومسار هندسة العوامل البشرية، وتشمل البرامج التدريسية كلا من: برنامج البكالوريوس، و برنامجين للدراسات العليا (الماجستير و الدكتوراه) ، حيث تشمل برامج الدراسات العليا على المسارات الاساسية المذكورة سابقا. كما ينتمي الى القسم مجموعة من الاساتذة المتميزة التي تخدم المسارات المذكورة. ويحتوي القسم على العديد من المختبرات والمعامل والآلات وبرمجيات الحاسب الالي الحديثة. للقسم علاقة قوية مع معهد التصنيع المتقدم تثري المعرفة ذات الصلة، وتوسيع نطاق الأبحاث في مجالات الهندسة الصناعية. كل ذلك يحفز ويهيئ بيئة مناسبة لأعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلبة بالقسم للتميز والابداع.

Chairman Message
Welcome to Industrial Engineering Department website, Faculty of Engineering, King Saud University
The Department of Industrial Engineering offers three different programs in three different tracks to cope up of modern scientific and industrial progress and serve the requirements of the market needs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the department has three principle tracks: Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Technologies, Industrial Systems Engineering and Human Factors Engineering. The teaching programs are: Bachelor's program, and two postgraduate programs (Masters and Philosophy of Doctorate), the postgraduate programs cover the principle tracks mentioned earlier. The department team group are a qualified professors teach the three programs. Furthermore, the department has many modern laboratories, machines and up-to-date computer software. The department has a strong relationship with the Advanced Manufacturing Institute enriching relevant knowledge, and expanding research in the fields of industrial engineering. All this stimulates and creates an environment suitable for faculty members and students in the department of excellence and creativity.
