Center services

The Research Center at the College of Engineering works to encourage scientific research activity in various engineering disciplines by providing financial and administrative support to faculty members, researchers and postgraduate students. The services of the Research Center in the college are summarized in the following points:

1- Providing the necessary financial support for research projects registered in the center, within the limits of the budget allocated to each, for the purchase of devices, equipment, spare parts, raw materials and consumables needed by the research. And the administration of the center seeks to overcome the difficulties that may face researchers when they need to purchase some devices or materials within the limits of the university's rules and regulations.

2- Providing copying, photocopying and printing services necessary for preparing research results in the form of final research reports or scientific articles to be published in scientific journals and periodicals, or research papers presented at international conferences.

3- Providing financial and technical support for master's and doctoral research conducted by postgraduate students at the college.

4- Helping faculty members and students in the college in making a review of scientific sources related to their research, through the technology available at Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Library and through the Information and Technical Services Department and the General Administration for Scholarship Programs at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, in addition to providing scientific references Required for researchers.

5- Follow up the progress of the registered research projects, and work to overcome the obstacles they may face.

6- Preparing and issuing an annual report on research and studies at the center, in Arabic and English.
