Committee Membership
  1. The Industrial Advisory Committee of the College of Engineering consists of 12 to 20 members who are nominated by the dean of the college, most of them from governmental or professional agencies that have a relationship with the activities of the college (two-thirds of the members at least) and it is preferable to be graduates of the college and others from the current college or university cadres The dean of the college may form a mini-committee to nominate the members of the faculty advisory board or the previous ones, provided that they are the vice-deans of the college for development and quality.
  2. The Secretary of the Committee shall be one of the university cadres.
  3. The Dean of the College heads the committee, and it is permissible for the committee chairman to be one of the members who work in governmental or professional bodies, and in this case the dean of the college must be the vice president.
  4. The term of membership in the committee is three years, and it is possible to renew for another period for the members of the current committee . A member is not entitled to continue in the committee for more than two consecutive terms.
