Work History: He joined King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and became Vice-Dean (1974-1975) and then Dean (1975-1976) of the College of Engineering (1974-1975), and then Vice-President for Graduate Studies and Research (1976-1984). He was appointed President of the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology.
