The Manufacturing research areas include multidisciplinary research fields such as casting of various Aluminum Alloys, severe plastic deformation processes, optimization of machining process parameters using machinability and cutting force criteria, modeling and experimental verification of bead shape in fusion welding, thermal spray coating (high velocity oxy-fuel) and it also includes Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
