Stresses and Strains Analyses in members, Design of Machine Elements, Design for Manufacturing, Failure Analysis, Fatigue Analysis including random vibration, Fracture Behavior for homogenous and composite materials, Vibration of composite beams, High Strain Rate Modeling, Multiscale Modeling of crystalline materials during deformation. Design and optimization of mechanical structures and systems using advanced simulations tools (CAD & CAE) and material characterizations (static, harmonic and impact). Fatigue and fracture behavior of aeronautic materials, the bonded composite repair of cracks, the vibration of sandwich beams, the finite element analysis of materials at different scales including high strain rate effects and the multiscale modeling of crystalline materials during deformation.
